A day spent at Red Fort.
Delhi is known to have most prestigious monument. Red Fort is present in delhi, near Chandni chowk. It is very famous in political and historical sense. It is mostly know for it's architecture and beauty. It is 2 kilometres long.Locally it has been named the Lal Quila which translates to the Red Fort. The most beautiful thing about Red fort is, it was built from Red sandstone which gives the building attractive Red color. It was built by Shah Jahan during 17 centuries. It was mugal Administration.
Entry fees for Red Fort is 35 Re( if you pay by card) 40Re by cash. The fort is more prettier from outside. Once we enter the Fort there are some local markets. It is very clean and beautiful. The place is usually crowded during evening time. There are , many mahals like the Mumtaz Mahal, Khas Mahal and the Rang Mahal, interesting places to look into.
The place is very good if you want to click some good pictures or spend some time with friends. The beauty of this place is it's Architecture. There are cultural activities going on during Republic Day and Independence Day. There are many more places near Red Fort,

India Gate.
It is very much near from Chandni chowk metro station. I found many good stuff from Chandni chowk. It is best place for foodie too. It has the best sweet shop's. Red Fort is magnificent piece of architecture with amazing structure and beautiful colour. It has mesmerising interiors and historical facts about the places makes the place more popular amongst tourist.
